Servus! I’m Fabian Kuzmic from Styria, Austria. I’ve been an AFS volunteer in various positions for almost 3 years now – as a board member, contact person, camp coordinator, etc. After completing an environmental voluntary service in an Austrian national park, I began studying transcultural communication and political science at the University of Vienna in October 2020. In 2017/18, I spent my exchange semester in San José, Costa Rica, where I absorbed the Pura Vida lifestyle – their intriguing vitality and endeavour to live life to the fullest. To me, volunteering for AFS is a way to live my life to the fullest because of all the inspirational people I meet – including YOU! Can’t wait to get to know you – Pura Vida!
