Hello!

My name is Josef and I’m an European-Egyptian law and Korean Studies student in Vienna! I became active in AFS after my own ECTP exchange in 2015. Since then, I’ve been active with AFS, even when I moved to South Korea when I was 16 (I needed an adventure).

I consider myself an active citizen —I joined a political youth group and have since been active in university politics in fighting for students’ rights and a better overall education policy. I’ve been appointed a caseworker in the Students’ Union Vienna department of education and policy after having been a political candidate and campaigning for four months (yes, four months).
