Hi everyone!
I’m Valerio, 21, Sagittarius so it means I have a natural tendency to explore and find out more about the world.
I was born and raised in Rome, Italy but in 2016 this tendency kinda moved its first steps and brought me to apply to AFS so I got the chance to spend my exchange year in the beautiful Philippines in 2017/2018.
I have been volunteering since I’m back and this would be my 2nd time at PEACE. But the first one was last year so maybe it doesn’t probably count ‘cause we all know what happened. So let’s say that I’m more than thrilled to do this all over again!
I’m currently studying oriental languages (farsi and arabic) in Rome and I’m very close to graduation, I’m also a professional swimmer and I train almost everyday, sometimes twice a day, between gym and training sessions.
I’m a cat dad, a HUGE fan of DragRace and the Eurovision, so I have my personal playlist of my Eurovision best and would love to share it with you.
About my Erasmus program it’s just a sad story: I was supposed to go to Palestine in 2021 but few days after I won the scholarship, Gaza and the mainland got bombed so unfortunately I wasn’t able to even start my program, but the world is full of amazing experiences!!
