Ceren – Trainer

Hello everyone! I’m Ceren from Turkey. I am now 24. I did my exchange back in 2019–2020 in Serbia and I’ve been volunteering since then. Currently I live and work in Istanbul and on my daily life I love spending time with Istanbul’s cats & dogs and passing through the Bosphorus in the afternoon -which is basically everyday hehe-

People often describe me as a social butterfly which is a polite way of admitting I love talking to pretty much anyone, anywhere, about anything. This will be my very first PEACE Camp and I am very excited to meet with everyone and create great memories!! See you soon!!

Giorgia – Trainer

Hi everyone! I’m Giorgia from Italy. I did my exchange in Costa Rica ten years ago, and since I got back, I’ve been actively volunteering with different local chapters across Italy. Last year I finished my master’s in Human Rights, and while I’m still trying to figure out what to do “when I grow up,” I moved to Paris for my ESC with the AFS France office. I love being surrounded by different people, and my favourite activity is visiting friends around Europe. This is my first PEACE Camp, and I can’t wait to meet you all and share this experience with you! See you soon:)

Irina – Trainer

I am a third-year law student passionate about languages and cultures. Besides English and Serbian, I speak Italian, German, and I am learning Chinese. I love spending time with my family, especially my little sister. Although I am not really a foodie myself, I love cooking for the people I love. When I have free time, I like reading and drawing. I used to practice volleyball for ten years. I have two rabbits named baby and puffy.

Murat – Trainer

Hi I am Murat, and I am from Istanbul, Turkey . I did my AFS exchange back in 2018 to 2019 in Finland. I am an AFS volunteer since 2021 and just graduated from University as an Industrial Engineer. While I am not volunteering or drinking coffee, I really enjoy playing board games, solo traveling and listening to progressive rock. I’ve just finished my ESC at the EFIL and I am really excited for being a trainer in the PEACE Camp. See you in the camp!

Phoebe – Trainer

Hey everyone! I’m Phoebe from Greece.

I study Civil Engineering in Athens, but if you can’t find me there, check Serbia! I did my exchange year there and it feels like home. I’ve been volunteering with AFS for three years, and I also work in cinemas and do social media (even though I’ve watched fewer movies than you’d expect). You’ll usually find me skiing in the winter, and chilling at the beach or chasing sunsets on the Greek islands in the summer.

This is my very first PEACE Camp and I can’t wait to meet all of you, learn together and have fun!

Thomas – Trainer

I’m Thomas Noel, Franco-belgian guy. Strong french accent, and throwing jokes like Eminem is throwing punchlines on Rap God, I intend to base my workshop on theory and try to make it as much interactive and funny it can be. After being engaged locally and nationally, I can’t wait to begin my international phase.
