Camilla – Trainer
Moikka everyone!!
I’m Camilla, but you can call me Milla ☀️
I’m an Italian volunteer with a Nordic soul, always curious and ready for new adventures!
I hold a degree in international cooperation, and one of my dreams is combine my interests and passions in a community-based development project surrounded by nature.
If I had to describe myself through the senses, I’d go with nose and eyes: I love observing, smelling, taking in everything new, and then just diving right in!
I’m passionate about cooking, travelling, gardening, and anything creative, and I can’t wait to get to know you all at PEACE. It’s gonna be amazing!

Daniel – Trainer
Hi, I’m Daniel, 25, from Munich, Germany, currently living and working as a physiotherapist in Prague, Czech Republic. My mother’s parents fled the Czech Republic in 1968, just before the borders were closed by the Soviet Union. Having the freedom to move to Prague as a European citizen and to immerse myself in the culture here is truly exciting. I grew up in Munich with my sister and spent my exchange year with AFS in the United States in 2016/17.That experience had a huge impact on me — just as it has on many students and host families I’ve supported through volunteering ever since. Over the years, I’ve had the chance to work with and learn from many inspiring active global citizens. The AFS spirit is incredibly energizing, and I’m looking forward to all the encounters ahead as we continue to pass PEACE forward.

İpek – Trainer
Hi everyone! I’m İpek from Turkiye, with a heart belonging to many countries! I was an exchange student in the Czech Republic in 2021 and I have been volunteering since then. I have recently finished university and became a psychologist! I have also been a dancer since I was 3, I sing in a choir, play the ukulele, enjoy learning languages and taking photos of people and places I love! I’m mostly very energetic, you can see me dancing around, sometimes even without music. 🙂 So if you are up for a little dance, or want to chat about psychology, dance or music, come find me! This will be my very first PEACE camp and I’m very excited to share this experience with you all! See you soon in Destelheide!!

Kasia – Trainer
I’m a second-year med student in Poland, and I just love languages and studying in different countries. I’ve already done two summer medical clerkships in Belgium, and I study daily in English or French (love to switch haha). This fall I’m starting my Erasmus in France, with future plans for rotations in Australia, a possible placement in NYC, and a full-year Erasmus in Spain. I’m all about spontaneous adventures – like a one-day birthday trip to Milan just to talk to strangers and have a good caffè italiano, hiking “hard mode” mountains in Romania, or heading to Dublin for a conference sleeping over at someone’s place I met online. I’m curious, positive, and always up for the next experience. (Some days I even have these desperate thoughts about starting a YouTube channel or sharing my story on Instagram… but that’s still my little secrettt).

Letizia – Trainer
Hi! I’m Letizia, I’m a passionate and kind 23-years old woman, with a slightly brainrot humor. I looove to cook and drink aperol spritz with my friends, while bitching about politics, environmental issues, the latest tiktok viral meme and how awesome Chappell Roan is. I have the most beautiful cat ever, Mollichina (bread crumb). I’m vegan and one day I will live on a farm with some cows, a couple of sheeps and possibly a guinea pig. I really enjoy listening to people talk about what they are passionate about and what inspires them.

Maria – Trainer
Hi! My name is Maria and I live in Greece. I grew up in a small island and I love the sea. I would say that I am an outgoing person and my social battery is always well charged. I am studying biochemistry and biotechnology at University of Thessaly and I am passionate about my studies, even though I cannot do just that. I keep myself busy by volunteering at AFS and ESN UTH, I see it more as a hobby by now. I enjoy learning new languages, but I have very few time to practice. On top of that, I appreciate art- even though I’m not so good at producing art myself-, I enjoy the theatre, the opera and I love to travel.

Melitta – Trainer
I’m Melitta, but you can call me Meli. I grew up in Hungary and I’m currently studying marketing and doing an intership in Spain. I was an exchange student with AFS in Japan and Panama, both for a year. I have been around AFS since I was a kid, thanks to hosting many students and volunteering for many years. I’m a patient person who loves to talk and gets excited easily just like SpongeBob, my favourite character. You’ll never catch SpongeBob without his spatula and me without my slinky.
