I’m a 24-year-old Psychology graduate, and I’m incredibly grateful to be living in Rome, which satisfies my love for pasta. I’m passionate about my work with AFS, but I find my balance through my creative pursuits. I do yoga for 2 years now and I have a big interest in yin yoga. I love capturing moments with my video recorder and my analog camera and transforming them into vlogs, music video-style clips and capture moments. Creating compelling reels and creating Spotify playlists are also special activities for me, as they allow me to share stories and emotions. Hi everyone! My name is Giorgia, and I’m 21 years old. I had an amazing exchange experience in Mexico during 2021/2022, and since then, I’ve been an AFS volunteer. I’m currently studying Economics and Management in Milan. I love spending time with people, especially over a good cup of coffee. I’m passionate about music and enjoy discovering new songs, so please share your favorite tunes with me!
I’d describe myself as a bit introverted at first, but once I open up, I can talk non-stop! In my free time, I like reading, running, and dancing, but only in the shower!!! Recently, I’ve developed a passion for walking in the woods and spending time in nature. It helps me clear my mind and recharge my energy.

Olá! I’m João (yes, the most Portuguese name you can think of). I come from a tiny yet charming city called Leiria, and I’m super excited to join my very first PEACE camp. I grew up surrounded by language exchanges, cultural events, and orchestra rehearsals (I’ve been playing the flute since I was 10). This mix probably explains my love for creative expression and connecting across cultures. I’m also a strong believer in EU values, proudly pro-European, and couldn’t be more thrilled to contribute to intercultural learning and active citizenship within the AFS bubble. Hello!! My name is Martí. I am 18 years old and I am from Barcelona, Spain!! I am a very outgoing person who loves meeting new people and traveling. I love to live new experiences but I love them more if I can share this moments with other people. I like sports (I climb often) and I love music (I play the piano in a band as well!). People say I am a very sensible and empathic person. I also love to work in group. If I would have the chance I would love to be in the PEACE camp because I think that I can apport really much!

Hi! I’m Martina, 23 years old, from Trieste but currently living in Bologna, where I study International Relations. I’ve lived in 6 different countries and I’m about to leave for Canada for my next adventure! I work as a ground hostess for cruise ships and I’m a total book nerd, I always carry at least one book in my bag (sometimes two, just in case). I love learning new languages, connecting with people, and I have a weird obsession with fun facts and memes (I can have a full conversation with just WhatsApp’s stickers)

Hi! I’m Mohammad Shadab, a curious soul with a love for learning, connecting, and creating impact. I’m currently pursuing my undergraduate studies and spend most of my time working on projects around education, inclusion, and youth empowerment. When I’m not volunteering or organizing workshops, you’ll find me swimming, journaling, or wandering through historic sites. I enjoy conversations that challenge perspectives and believe in the power of stories to spark change. Whether it’s through writing, mentoring, or simply listening—I try to leave every space a little better than I found it.

In my free time, I enjoy discovering new spots around Istanbul, going to concerts, and spending quality time with friends. Although I haven’t read much lately, reading used to be one of my biggest passions, and I’m slowly finding my way back to it. I’m passionate about learning—whether it’s science, culture, or personal growth—and I believe staying curious helps me grow both as a person and as a global citizen.

Hey! I’m Robin from Belgium. I’m 20 years old and I study Applied Linguistics in Antwerp. Aside from volunteering in AFS I love to go out with friends, to travel, to write and to listen to all kinds of music. I’m obsessed with learning languages and getting to know new cultures, and I would love to work as either a translator or a teacher when I finish my studies. Being a part of PEACE this year is such an amazing opportunity, and I can’t wait to meet everyone there!

Hi! My name is Zorka Kara, but most people call me Blossom. I’m a big foodie who loves trying new flavors and textures, if you ever meet me, I probably have some Mogyoró (peanuts) in my pocket! I even named my dog Mogyi. I come from the south of Hungary and carry that joyful spirit with me: I love to dance and sing (even tho I’m not very good at either). I have been volunteering for 4 years now, and went for an exchange in South Korea and Brazil.
